1. Vehicle Standards
Every vehicle listed on SanAuto must accurately reflect its real-world condition and include the following details:
- Valid VIN: A correct Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) must be provided to cross-check with the national registration registry.
- Technical Specs: Make, model, manufacturing year, mileage (odometer), origin, and engine type (Gasoline/Diesel ICE or EV).
- Real Photographs: A minimum of 6 high-resolution pictures displaying the exterior (angled views), interior cabin, odometer reading, engine bay (ICE) or undercarriage (EV), and registration documents. Images must not be cropped or edited to mask damage.
2. Inspection Rules (C2B vs C2C)
SanAuto implements two distinct listing workflows based on physical verification requirements:
- C2B (Business Listing Flow): Mandatory inspection prior to auction listing. Vehicles must be brought to SanAuto's partner centers for a 160-point mechanical check. Detailed reports (including battery State of Health - SOH for EVs) are directly published and secured with the inspector's VNPT-CA digital signature, valid for 30 days (EV) or 45 days (ICE).
- C2C (Consumer Listing Flow): Pre-listing inspection is optional. Sellers self-declare car conditions. However, the listing will show a warning label and a disclaimer of warranty. Winning bidders can request a checkup at partner centers before transferring the remaining 90% balance.
3. Prohibited Content List
The following types of listings are strictly prohibited on SanAuto:
- Vehicles without legal papers, disputed vehicles, or vehicles under bank mortgage without official releases.
- Cars involved in major structural accidents or flood damage without explicit disclosure in the description.
- Vehicles with altered or counterfeit VINs or engine numbers.
- Listings that do not offer a vehicle for sale (advertising, spam, inappropriate images).
4. Moderation Workflow
All listings and inspection files submitted to the system undergo review within 24 business hours. The moderation steps include:
- VIN Verification: Cross-checking VIN records to confirm vehicle year, make, and check for outstanding traffic fines.
- Image Audits: Rejecting blurry photos, duplicate listings, or pictures with evidence of Photoshop alterations.
- Signature Checks: For C2B listings, the system automatically checks the validity of the inspector's VNPT-CA signature to ensure reports remain unaltered post-publication.
5. Violation Penalties
If a member violates listing guidelines or attempts to commit fraud, the SanAuto management team will impose strict penalties:
- First Minor Violation: Listing rejection with instructions to update information.
- Odometer Tampering / Masking Major Accidents: Immediate listing deletion, subtraction of 50 Trust Score points, and 30-day account suspension.
- Falsifying Documents / Stolen Cars: Permanent account lockout, reducing Trust Score to 0, and forwarding eKYC data to law enforcement.
